The match marks the fourth full international for the U.S. Women's National Team in Tampa, where the team most recently defeated France in a hard-fought match, 2-1, back on April 27, 1997.
U.S. scoring sensations Mia Hamm and Michelle Akers will both continue their march on the all-time international soccer scoring mark of 108 goals, currently held by Elisabetta Vignotto of Italy. Hamm currently has 103 goals, while Akers hit the 100-goal plateau in the USA's 6-0 victory over Portugal in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Jan. 30.
The USA holds a 4-0-0 all-time record against Finland, outscoring them 10-0 in three victories in 1995 with the most recent win coming 2-0 in March 1998.

The U.S. Women's National Team is coming off its most successful season since the team was established in 1986. Ranked No. 1 in the world, the team finished 1998 with a single year best 22-1-2 record that was capped by a 5-0 victory over Ukraine on December 20 in Fresno, Calif.
