CHICAGO (Wednesday, July 28, 1999) - The U.S. Men's National Team is currently competing in the eight-team FIFA Conferderations Cup, matching eight confederation champions from across the world. The U.S. is in Group B with four-time World Cup champion Brazil and three-time World Cup champion Germany, as well as New Zealand, who the U.S. defeated 2-1 on Saturday (July 24).

Although the games are not being broadcast on network television, there are a number of options to see all the games from the tournament.

Innovative Sports Marketing has acquired the rights to the games in the U.S., and the matches can be seen on the DISH Network (for more information contact the DISH Network at 800-333-DISH). The games are also available via closed circuit telecasts at participating sports bars and restaurants. For more information on outlets showing the games in your area, beginning Wednesday (July 28) afternoon fans can go on-line at www.prostar-inc.com to find local area establishments showing the games.

The games are also available via the following local pay-per-view cable outlets: Media General in Northern Virginia, Cox Communications in San Diego and Charter Communications in Long Beach.

After defeating New Zealand on Saturday behind goals from Brian McBride and Jovan Kirovski, the U.S. is in second place in their group behind Brazil on goal differential. The top two teams in the group advance to Sunday's semifinals.
