Foundation Sets Promotion Days at MLS Games

CHICAGO (Monday, March 19, 2001) - Major League Soccer will serve as an important platform for the U.S. Soccer Foundation's fund raising efforts in 2001. MLS will host five "Foundation Days" during the course of the season. At each event the Foundation will host a reception for donors, at which MLS executives and players will share the story of how the Foundation and its partners are enriching lives through soccer.

The Foundation Days are:

• April 21: at D.C. United
• June 13: at Los Angeles
• June 16: at Kansas City
• Aug. 15: at Chicago
• Sept. 7: at New York/New Jersey
