U.S. Beach Soccer Men's National Team Names Roster for CONCACAF Qualifying

The U.S. Beach Soccer Men’s National Team has arrived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, ahead of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2011 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

The U.S. Beach Soccer Men’s National Team has arrived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, ahead of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2011 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. U.S. head coach Eddie Soto has named 14 players that will travel to Mexico for games against Guatemala on Dec. 1, Bahamas on Dec. 2 and Costa Rica on Dec. 3.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the semifinals, and the winner of the two semifinals move on to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Rome, Italy, from Sept. 1-11, 2011.

The U.S. team will be attempting to qualify for its first FIFA Beach World Cup since 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after missing out on Marseilles 2008 and Dubai 2009.
