U.S. Soccer Coaching Symposium Conducted in Spanish To Be Held Aug. 22-23

CHICAGO (August 19, 2009) – U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Department will host a coaching symposium conducted in Spanish Aug. 21-22 in conjunction with the Atlas Merced Academy (http://mercedatlas.com/) at Merced Community College in Merced, Calif. The symposium, in which U.S. Soccer “A” license coach’s can earn 2 CEU’s, will be led by U.S. Soccer National Coaching Staff member Rene Miramontes.

There is no fee to attend and all coaches are welcome to attend the symposium. There is a $25 charge for U.S. Soccer “A” license coaches to register their CEU credits.

Coaches should also be sure the keep their coaching membership current in order to receive the latest news and benefits. Available through ussoccer.com, CoachesNet is devoted to educating its members on U.S. National Team coaching tactics by breaking down games at the highest level, analyzing training sessions and tactics and delving into the keys to preparation (sign up now).
