U-15/16: Ryan Zinkhan
Club: Richmond Strikers
Ryan Zinkham scored the game winning goal over McLean Youth Soccer in the 3-0 victory for the Richmond Strikers U-15/16 team. His efforts have also helped the Richmond Strikers in leading the Atlantic Division and to a 4-2-0 overall record. Zinkham was also invited to join camp with the U-18 Men’s National Team, which is underway this week at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
U-17/18: Carlos McCrary
Club: Concorde Fire
Carlos McCrary, who set the pace last season for the Concorde Fire U-17/18 team for most appearances and goals scored, found the back of the net five times during match play over the weekend. McCrary accounted for all three goals in the 3-2 win over IMG Soccer Academy and netted two more in the 3-3 draw with the Clearwater Chargers on Sunday. McCrary also currently leads all U-17/18 Academy players with eight goals scored on the season.
