U.S. National Futsal Team Concludes Tour of Brazil

The U.S. National Futsal team concluded its tour of Brazil with a 6-2 loss against Brazilian club side A.D. Colegial on Sept. 6. The U.S. now turns its attention towards its final tune up matches before the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup, including games with Japan on Sept. 12 and 14 at the Kern Center in Milwaukee.

Florianópolis, Brazil (Sept. 8, 2008) - The U.S. National Futsal team concluded its tour of Brazil with a 6-2 loss against Brazilian club side A.D. Colegial on Sept. 6. The U.S. now turns its attention towards its final tune up matches before the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup, including games against Japan on Sept. 12 and 14 at the Kern Center in Milwaukee.

The U.S. traveled two Brazil in late August, playing four games in the World Cup host nation as preparation for the tournament which kicks off later this month. The U.S. starts its World Cup campaign on Sept. 30, having been drawn into Group B along with Italy, Portugal, Thailand and Paraguay.
