Eddie Lewis played 90 minutes before coming off as a stoppage time substitute as Preston North End held Derby County to a 0-0 draw on Thursday (May 19) to win their England Championship playoff series by a 2-0 margin.
Preston will look for a spot in the Premiership for the first time in the club's history on Monday, May 30 at the Millennium Stadium vs. West Ham, who knocked out Ipswich in the other playoff series.
Lewis, a fixture on the left side of midfield for Preston, played 89 minutes in the first leg on May 14 and by all accounts played a strong game in his first action back since an appendectomy on April 24.
