U.S. Under-16 Boys Take Second Place in International Tournament in England
NOTTINGHAM, England (July 13, 2003) - The U.S. Under-16 Boys National Team, made up of mainly younger players in the U.S. Under-17 residency program, finished in second place at the International U-17 Tournament in Notts County, England after falling to Portugal 3-0 today. The U.S. opened the tournament with a 2-1 win over the host nation on goals by Rodrigo Hidalgo and Danny Szetela. Then on July 10, the team played Brazil to a 1-1 draw on a goal by Jason Singh.
