U.S. U-17s Arrive in New Zealand for FIFA U-17 World Championship, November 10-27
CHICAGO (Thursday, November 4, 1999) - The U.S. Men's U-17 National Team arrived in Auckland, New Zealand this evening where they will participate in the Vth FIFA U-17 World Championship, November 10-27.

The U.S. U-17 team was bid farewell prior to their departure from the Los Angeles Airport by several members of the media, family, friends, fans and two-time World Cup star Paul Caligiuri. In an passionate and inspiring speech Caligiuri wished the team luck and shared his personal World Cup experiences and the impact it has had on his professional and personal life.
The following is a look at the U-17s tentative training schedule leading up to their Nov. 10 showdown against New Zealand:
