U.S. U-17 MNT Advances to Final of Copa Macae in Brazil
The U.S Under-17 Men's National Team advanced to the final of the Copa Macae in Brazil with a 3-0 semifinal win against Fluminese. Luis Gil opened the scoring for the U.S. in the 21st minute, and Jack McInerney's 32nd penalty conversion gave the team a 2-0 halftime lead. Victor Chavez rounded out the scoring in the 79th minute to make it a 3-0 final.
