CHICAGO (March 26, 2012) – The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team will play the Houston Dynamo Academy at 7:30 p.m. CT on May 10 in the official soft opening event at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.
“To have the chance to be a part of the stadium opening in Houston will be a unique experience for our players,” said U.S. Under-17 MNT head coach Richie Williams. “The atmosphere and excitement around the event will add a different element to the opportunity of playing against a good opponent, and we’re thrilled to be invited.”
Williams leads the U-17 MNT from the IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla., where the players train full-time in preparation for the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championship. The spring semester roster features 31 players.
The match against the Dynamo will be open only to Houston Dynamo season ticket holders, sponsors and select guests. For more information on full and partial season ticket packages, please visit HoustonDynamo.com or call (713) 276-GOAL.
