Semifinal Pairings Set at 2010 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship

The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team will face Canada in the first semifinal of the 2010 CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championships on March 18 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

CHICAGO (March 16, 2010) – The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team will face Canada in the first semifinal of the 2010 CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championships on March 18 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. ET (4 p.m. local) and be streamed live on CONCACAF.com. Fans can also follow the action on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker. Fox Soccer Channel will also televise the game tape-delayed at 8 p.m. ET.

Canada lost, 1-0, to Mexico in the final match of Group B to finish second in the group and earn a meeting with the Group A champion United States. Host Costa Rica will face Group A winner Mexico in the other semifinal at 9 p.m. ET (7 p.m. local). The winners of the two semifinals will earn berths to the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Trinidad & Tobago and meet for the confederation title on March 20.
