U-18 MNT Finish Fourth at Slovakia Cup
The U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team finished fourth at the 2006 Slovakia Cup after a 2-0 loss to Poland this afternoon in the third place match in Zlate Moravce, Slovakia.
April 28, 2006
The U.S. went down a man in the 20th minute when Perica Marosevic received his second red card of the tournament and never recovered as Poland compiled a 22-8 shot advantage.
Poland took the lead in the 37th minute when U.S. goalkeeper Joe Bendik did well to come off his line in attempt to clear a through ball, but the rebound fell directly to Straporski Mateusz and he slotted it home.

Poland put the game away five minutes from time when Grosickis Kamil unleashed a low 18-yard drive that got past Bendik and snuck into the corner.
