U.S. Under-23 WNT to Face University of Portland on April 18

CHICAGO (March 5, 2009) – The U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team will face the University of Portland Pilots at Merlo Field on Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale on March 18 at 11 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or over the phone at 1-800-745-3000. Tickets will also be available in person at the Pilot Box Office Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Ticket prices range from $7-12 for adults and $5-12 for youths. Group packages of 10 or more are available at $5 per ticket (General Admission only). Admission is free for all UP students.

U.S. U-23 WNT head coach Bill Irwin will bring a full squad to Portland as the team is preparing for possible games in Europe later this summer.

The U-23s recently competed in a tournament in La Manga, Spain, earlier this February, defeating Norway (1-0) and Germany (3-0).
