FIFA has announced that tickets for the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup are now on sale and are available for purchase either online or via telephone.

CHICAGO (June 29, 2007) – FIFA has announced that tickets for the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup are now on sale and are available for purchase either online or via telephone.
The U.S. Women open the World Cup on Tues., Sept. 11, against North Korea at the Chengdu Sports Stadium in the first match of a double doubleheader with Nigeria vs. Sweden, the other two Group B teams. Second, the U.S. faces Sweden in a doubleheader with Nigeria vs. North Korea in Chengu, before closing out group play on Sept. 18 Nigeria in Shanghai’s Hongkou Football Stadium.
Pricing of all tickets ranges between 30-500 CNY ($4-$66). Complete information about buying tickets for this event is available on the official FIFA Women’s World Cup web site.

The tournament kicks off of Monday, Sept. 10 in the Shanghai Hongkou Football Stadium, with the defending champions Germany taking on Argentina. The final will be held on Sept. 30 in Shanghai.
Should the U.S. Women make the quarterfinals, they would play on Saturday, Sept. 22 at either the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium or at the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium. The semifinals of the tournament will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26 in Tiajin and Thursday, Sept. 27 in Hangzhou. A full schedule is available at ussoccer.com.
