The Referee Assignment and Assessment Schedule Database at ussoccer.gameofficials.net is used to schedule referees to all professional league games as well as international friendlies and other games involving various national teams. Users can find game schedules by date, league and/or event. This site also contains a topics page with information that will interest all Federation referees.

Referee Inspectors

U.S. Soccer will appoint certain National Assessors as Referee Inspectors. This designation is at the discretion of U.S. Soccer and is reviewable at any time. Referee Inspectors will be empowered to assess all games but specifically at the Pro-Level and international level. In addition, all National Referees and National Candidates must have at least one of their annual assessments as a referee conducted by a Referee Inspector.

Annual Assessment Requirements

Annual assessment requirements for National Referee Candidates and recertifying National Referees requires that each receive one passing assessment, as the referee, from an assessor specified/approved by U.S. Soccer (Referee Inspector).

In addition, all National Referees and National Referee Candidates must fulfill the assessment requirements approved by the referee committee on September 23, 2009. The new set of criteria arranges assessments into categories and replaces the previous list titled “Other Approved Games.” It is critical that all National Referees and National Referee Candidates become familiar with the revised standards which are in effect on December 1, 2009.
