2011-12 Development Academy Finals Week in Focus: U-17/18 Colorado Rapids

The Development Academy Playoffs was a new prospect for the Colorado Rapids. The team had never previously qualified for the postseason tournament, but in its first appearance was able to capitalize with a stoppage-time goal in the final group game to book a spot at the Academy Finals Week in Houston.

Bradley Names 19 Players for Domestic Training Camp in Colorado

U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Bob Bradley has selected 19 players for a four-day training camp from Nov. 12-16 in Colorado. The group is comprised of MLS players who have completed the 2008 MLS season, as well as Norway-based goalkeeper Troy Perkins and defender Clarence Goodson.

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 31, 2005) – US Youth Soccer National Champions were crowned today at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex where 48 of the top teams in the country met to conclude the final challenge of the 2005 US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. By advancing through their state and regional competitions the final two teams in each age group, Under-14 through Under-19 boys and girls, earned their way to play for the US Youth Soccer National Championship.

Real Colorado Overcomes Two-Goal Deficit to Earn Draw with PDA at Finals Week

Real Colorado overcame a two-goal deficit against PDA to earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw in the opening game of U-17/18 Development Academy Finals Week. Dylan Renna and Ryan Finley scored in the first half to give PDA a 2-0 lead, but, seconds before the halftime whistle Real Colorado cut the lead in half as Taylor Kemp converted a penalty kick following a hand ball call.

Murphy Brace Leads CASL Chelsea FC to Win Against Real Colorado

In a back and forth game that could have gone either way, CASL Chelsea FC Academy topped Real Colorado 2-0, dashing Real Colorado’s hopes of advancing to the U-17/18 Development Academy championship. Martin Murphy scored two goals within nine minutes in the second half to lead his team to victory.
