On September 19th, 2009, Houston Dynamo kicked off their first Academy games at the University of Houston Carl Lewis Complex. The U-15/16 game and U-17/18 Academy games flanked the Houston Dynamo First Team game that evening.

The 2012 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Finals Week will be held from July 16-23 in Houston, with the Under-15/16 and U-17/18 championship matches taking place at BBVA Compass Stadium, the new home for Major League Soccer’s Houston Dynamo.

CHICAGO (Thursday, March 20, 2003) — Tickets for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s 2002 World Cup rematch against Mexico on May 8 at Reliant Stadium in Houston are selling at a blistering pace. Since opening sales to the general public last Saturday, over 20,000 tickets have already been, with all of the tickets in the $150, $75, and $60 price-ranges selling out just five days after going on public sale.

CHICAGO (Monday, March 10, 2003) - The U.S. Men's National Team will resume one of the best rivalries in the world when they face archrival and fellow World Cup finalists Mexico on Thursday, May 8 at Reliant Stadium in the biggest match in Houston soccer history. Kickoff for the game, which is being staged in conjunction with Major League Soccer and Houston Texans Entertainment, is set for 7 p.m. CT. The match will be broadcast live on Telemundo and the Radio Unica network and will be broadcast via tape delay on ESPN2 beginning at 10 p.m. ET.

CHICAGO (Monday, May 5, 2003) — Tickets for the U.S. Men's National Team's 2002 World Cup rematch against Mexico on May 8 at Reliant Stadium in Houston are becoming a scarce commodity, with over 60,000 tickets sold and just nine days remaining before the first international soccer event at Reliant Stadium. All of the tickets in the $150, $75, and $60 range sold out just five days after going on public sale, and the $50 category is now sold out as well.
