U.S. Men's National Team Opens Training Camp, Gets Ready for Venezuela on Saturday

PORTLAND, Oregon (Tuesday, March 25, 2003) - The U.S. Men's National Team opened training camp yesterday at Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon as the players get ready for its upcoming game this Saturday (March 29) against Venezuela. Earnie Stewart, Brian McBride, Frankie Hedjuk, John O'Brien, Kasey Keller and Eddie Pope all look to play in their first match for the MNT since Korea, as the U.S. takes on Venezuela at Seattle Seahawks Stadium in Seattle at 1 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and fans can also follow the match online at ussoccer.com's MatchTracker, presented by Philips Electronics.
