World Cup-Bound U.S. Men's National Team to Travel to South Korea for December 9 Match in Seogwipo

CHICAGO (Thursday, October 11, 2001) - The United States Men’s National Team will play an international friendly against 2002 World Cup co-host South Korea on the resort island of Jeju on Sunday, December 9, at 3 p.m. local time (2 a.m. ET). The match will be played at Jeju Stadium in Seogwipo, Jeju Province, and will help open the final newly constructed venue in Korea for the upcoming World Cup finals in the summer of 2002.
