Reyna Scores in Home Debut for Sunderland

CHICAGO (Saturday, December 22, 2001) - U.S. Men's National Team captain Claudio Reyna scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute to lead Sunderland to a 1-0 home victory over Everton in the English Premier League on Saturday. The goal came in the 28-year-old midfielder's home debut for Sunderland in front of 48,013 fans at the Stadium of Light.
