A wild card team entering the Development Academy Playoffs, the North Carolina Fusion needed a win on the final day of the Academy Playoffs in order to clinch its first trip to Finals Week. The club did just that – recording a 1-0 victory against Crossfire Premier to claim a trip to Houston.
