U.S. Soccer and FIFA Referee Sandra Hunt Officiates Final Game of Illustrious Career

Three sharp blasts of the referee’s whistle on Wednesday (Oct. 20) signaled the end of the U.S. Women’s National Team 5-1 victory over Ireland at Soldier Field in Chicago. The whistle also signaled the end of a cycle for FIFA referee Sandra Hunt, who has represented the United States on the international level as a FIFA-sanctioned referee since 1999.
