U.S. Women Tie Sweden, 1-1; Advance to Algarve Cup Championship

VILA REAL de SAN ANTONIO, Portugal (Tuesday, March 18, 2003) - The U.S. Women's National Team tied an excellent Sweden team, 1-1, in its final group match at the 2003 Algarve Cup, but it was good enough to earn the Americans spot in the championship game on Thursday, March 20, against long-time rival China.
