U.S. Under-17 Go 1-1-1 Against MLS Teams in 2004

CHICAGO (Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004) - U.S. Under-17 ’87 Men’s National Team defeated the Columbus Crew 2-1 behind goals from Rodrigo Hidalgo and Ryan Soroka this afternoon at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., increasing their record to 1-1-1 against MLS teams this year. So far this year, the U.S. has played two other matches against MLS clubs, losing to the Galaxy 3-1 at U.S. Soccer's National Training Center at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., on Feb. 6 to close out the team's training camp last week, and tying the Chicago Fire 2-2 upon returning to Bradenton on Feb. 8.
