U.S. Advances to 11th Straight FIFA U-17 World Championship With 2-1 Victory Over Costa Rica

HEREDIA, Costa Rica (April 16, 2005) — The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team captured the first of three CONCACAF berths for the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship this evening with a spirited 2-1 victory over Costa Rica in their final match in Group A of the U-17 Final Round CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament at Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero in Heredia, Costa Rica.
