WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 13, 2004) — The U.S. Men’s National Team advanced to the final round of FIFA World Cup qualifying in the CONCACAF region with an authoritative 6-0 trouncing of Panama on Wednesday evening at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. The victory was paced by two goals from Landon Donovan and a second-half hat trick from forward Ed Johnson.
