Road to Germany 2006 Takes Shape as CONCACAF Sets Qualifying Schedule

CHICAGO (November 5, 2003) — The U.S. will join 33 other teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean in the two-year process to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany under a qualifying plan ratified by the CONCACAF Executive Committee on Monday (Nov. 4) in Miami. The proposed qualification plan will be submitted for final approval to the FIFA Executive Committee on Dec. 3 in Frankfurt, Germany.
