U.S. Under-20s Top Canada, 1-0, Rongen Earns First International Win

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (Thursday, January 10, 2002) - The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team continued to ride a rock-solid defense and the scorching play of Mike Magee, topping Canada 1-0 in Thomas Rongen’s first international match as the coach of the U.S. Under-20. The match was also the first international for the newest group of Under-20s and ends the team’s first training camp, which saw them post four consecutive shutout wins.
