U-19 Women Ready for Russia in Second Match of World Championship

PHUKET, Thailand (Nov. 13, 2004) - Coming off a convincing 3-0 victory over South Korea in their first match of the FIFA Under-19 Women’s World Championship 2004, the U.S. U-19 Women’s National Team faces Russia on Sunday, Nov. 14 (5 p.m. local / 5 a.m. ET), with the winner almost assuredly clinching a spot in the quarterfinals. Russia is coming off a 4-1 upset victory over European champion Spain and is actually in first place in Group C, having scored one more goal than the USA.
