USA Defeats Mexico 1-0 in First Ever-Snow Game For WNT

The U.S. Women’s National Team defeated Mexico 1-0 at Rio Tinto Stadium under snowy conditions Wednesday evening. After a scoreless first half, Abby Wambach broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, on assist from Shannon Boxx. The U.S. held on for the final 30 minutes and completed the sweep of their two-game series against Mexico.
