WASHINGTON, D.C. (Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003) - After a few days of perfect weather in Charlottesville, Va., earlier in the week, the U.S. Women's National Team drove north yesterday to Washington, D.C. and is now directly in the path of Hurricane Isabel. No worries though, as some quick maneuvering by the team staff allowed the players the chance to get a practice in this morning before the swirling wind and rain rolled into the nation's capital. Check out what's been going on with the team during the past few days on and off the field as they prepare for a storm of their own on Sunday, Sept. 21, when they face Sweden in the opening round of the Women's World Cup at RFK Stadium (12:30 p.m. ET live on ABC and Telefutura).
