Soccer Wire: U.S. MNT Storms Past Cuba, Set to Face Brazil on Wednesday

The U.S. Men’s National Team continued to storm through its regional foes last week to advance to the semifinals of the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup, where they will face a young Brazil squad on Wednesday (July 23) at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Fla., live on Galavision at 8 p.m. ET. After dispatching El Salvador 2-0 in their opener on July 12, the U.S. downed Martinique 2-0 on a pair of goals scored by forward Brian McBride and assisted by midfielder Steve Ralston to win Group C.
