Carlos Bocanegra is a California kid through and through. Born in Upland, raised in Alta Loma, and schooled in Los Angeles at UCLA, you wonder if he's ever left the state. And why would he? Well, to play for the Chicago Fire, for one. And to represent the U.S. Men's National Team in this weekend's friendly versus El Salvador.
