June 9, 2005

ENSCHEDE, Holland (June 9, 2005) - The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team is now just two days away from their opening match of the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship against Argentina. After arriving at their venue of Enschede on Monday (June 6), the team held a practice that evening and then the coaching staff surprised the players with a much-needed day off on Tuesday. The team was back to business practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, though. The Thursday evening session took place at the 13,500-seat Arke Stadium in Enschede, which will host all three of the USA’ first round games.
