U.S. U-20 WNT Edges Korea DPR in Overtime to Advance to Semifinal of 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Japan

The U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team earned a hard-fought 2-1 overtime victory against a strong Korea DPR side when Chioma Ubogagu scored the game-winning goal in the 98th minute to lead the USA to its fifth semifinal appearance in a FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. U.S. midfielder Vanessa DiBernardo contributed a goal in the second half.
