Mathis Joins Cherundolo at Hannover 96

U.S. Men’s National Team forward Clint Mathis becomes the third U.S. player in the last week to hop the pond and join a European side as Hannover 96 of the German Bundesliga announced today that the former MetroStars striker as signed on through 2006 with an option for 2007. Mathis was out of contact with MLS and therefore was a free transfer.
