SEOUL (Saturday, June 15, 2002) — U.S. veteran defender Jeff Agoos will miss the remainder of the 2002 FIFA World Cup due to a calf injury, team officials announced today. Agoos, 34, suffered a moderate strain of the medial gastrocnemius in his right calf during the first half of the USA's 3-1 loss to Poland last evening.
