Landon Donovan and U.S. Soccer Foundation Join Forces for a 'Heady' Purpose

LOS ANGELES (Tuesday, December 11, 2001) - Among the brightest young talents on the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team, 19-year-old forward Landon Donovan will be using his head this holiday season to assist U.S. Soccer. Through a collaborative deal among the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Landon Donovan and SportsNet Marketing & Management, Inc., Donovan's representative, the parties have combined to produce a "Landon Donovan Bobblehead Doll". The latest craze for sports enthusiasts and sports memorabilia collectors, the Landon Donovan bobblehead doll was created for the purpose of helping to build the future National Team Training Center, as all proceeds from the doll will be allocated to this Capital Campaign.
