Dec. 23, 2004

CARSON, Calif. (Dec. 23, 2004) - The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team finished their final camp of 2004 this morning as the players and staff left the friendly confines of The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., and traveled home for the holidays. Head coach Sigi Schmid will reduce the 30 players in camp down to the 22 players that he will bring back to The Home Depot Center on Jan. 2 as the team will begin their final preparations for the Under-20 CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament, which will be played from Jan. 12-16, also at the HDC. Out of the 22, Schmid will pick his final 18-man roster a few days before the tournament’s opening day.
