CHICAGO (May 24, 2005) - The U.S. Men's National Team had all hands in attendance for training on Tuesday in Chicago. The 20-player roster is preparing for Saturday's match-up with England in a major international showdown at Soldier Field in Chicago (live on ESPN & Telemundo at 2 p.m. CT). Joining the active roster for today's session was midfielder DaMarcus Beasley and defender Jonathan Spector, who will both be with the team in Chicago all week. Beasely is recovering from a left knee injury sustained with his Dutch Club PSV on April 29, while Spector is staying fit in preparation of the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team's trip to the upcoming FIFA World Youth Championship in Holland. Spector will join the rest of his U-20 teammates on June 1 in Carson, Calif.
