SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (Sunday, May 9, 1999) - The Under-17 U.S. Men's National Team crushed El Salvador 6-1 in San Salvador in the first game of a home-and-home series with El Savlador virtually assuring the team a spot in the 1999 FIFA U-17 World Championship in New Zealand in November.
