Under-20s: In 2012, O’Neill was called up to the U-20 MNT for the Marbella Cup in Spain in October and made his first appearance and start with any national team. O’Neill opened 2013 with two full 90-minute games against Panama in preparation of the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
In June of 2012, O’Neill signed with the Colorado Rapids as a homegrown player. O’Neill holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and Ireland, where he was born and stayed for approximately a year before his family moved to Boulder, Colo.
