Under-23s: Kiesewetter earned the start during a scoreless draw in a scrimmage against Azerbaijan on Nov. 11, 2011, in Duisburg, Germany … Under-20s: Kiesewetter is one of two players on the USA’s CONCACAF U-20 Championship roster to have earned his first U-20s cap in 2010 – the other being goalkeeper Cody Cropper. Kiesewetter enters 2013 with five U-20 caps, appearing twice in 2012, once in 2011 and two times in 2010 when he was invited to a four-team international tournament in Peru. Under-18s: Kiesewetter played in the Northern Ireland Milk Cup in 2011, scoring a goal in the opening 2-0 win against Israel and the game-winning goal in the 2-1 victory against Georgia in the third-place game on July 29, 2011.

Kiesewetter, who holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and Germany, signed with VfB Stuttgart in Germany’s third division, 3. Fußball-Liga, making his debut in September of 2012.
