Ticket Sales for USA-Spain at Gillette Stadium Set Record for a U.S. Soccer Event in New England

More than 57,500 tickets have been sold for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s match against 2010 FIFA World Cup Champion Spain on June 4 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., setting a record for a Men’s National Team event in the state of Massachusetts and throughout New England. The new mark eclipses the previous record of 57,407 set April 20, 1997, when the USA faced Mexico during 1998 FIFA World Cup qualifying at the old Foxborough Stadium.
