2005 National Camp Material - UPDATED  

CHICAGO (Tuesday, January 18, 2005) - Important information about the annual National Referee Certification and Professional League Referee Training Seminar is attached, including the application for the 2005 camp.  Please read each page carefully and be sure to notice the deadlines for application.

Camp assignments are listed below. Check the lists to find out which session you will be attending. You will not receive any other communication from our office. You should check the site periodically to find out if your paperwork has been received and approved. When the date is posted next to your name, you can proceed with your travel arrangements. National Referee Candidates will all attend Session 2. Candidates will not find their name listed on the sheet at this time. Candidates will be listed as their paper work is received and approved.

You may direct any questions you have about this year's camp to Alfred Kleinaitis [akleinaitis@ussoccer.org] or Carol McGuire [cmcguire@ussoccer.org].

Please come to camp prepared, both mentally and physically. Your positive attitude will help to make this year's camps a great experience for everyone.

To the Referees who will be attending the first National Camp Session:

Corporate Coach Charter will provide bus transportation from the airport to the Marriott Hotel. The buses will pick referees up at the airport at the island with the green sign that says "Long Distance Bus and Shuttle Pick-Up Area." Referees from the California State Soccer Association – South will be in each terminal to direct you to the pick up area. The first pick up will be at 10:30 a.m. and the last pick up will be at 6 p.m. unless there are many flight delays and we ask the bus to stay later.

Please call Claude Baudin's cell phone (909-374-1774) if you are experiencing any arrival delays or cannot locate the bus pick-up area as he is in charge of transportation logistics.

Please bring the following items to camp with you for the field sessions: flags, cards and whistles.
