U-19 Women Finish European Tour with 9-0 Win
CHICAGO (Monday, August 20, 2001) - The United States Under-19 Women's National Team posted a perfect 4-0 mark on a four-game tour of Holland and Germany this past week, outscoring their opponents 21-1.

Tracey Leone's team finished the tour with a 9-0 wrecking of Fortuna Oberhaussen on August 15, getting two goals apiece from Megan Kakadelas, Heather O'Reilly and Alison Graham.

The USA's toughest test came on Tuesday, August 14, when a Kakadelas goal in the 65th minute gave the U.S. a 2-1 win over Bundesliga side Duisberg. Lindsay Tarpley scored the opener for the U.S. in the 52nd minute, two minutes before a Duisberg equalizer.

The team opened with two easy, 5-0 wins against Essen (Aug.13) and Saestum (Aug. 11). Kelly Wilson and O'Reilly each finished the four-game tour with four goals.

Tracey Leone's squad is preparing for next year's inaugural Under-19 Women's World Championship.
