The Referee Committee has approved the following policy:

A National Assessor who retires from assessing completely may register as an Honorary National Referee Assessor, beginning with the 2003 registration year.

Approved: May 12, 2001

Effective: January 1, 2002

Fee: $5 (waived for Lifetime Referee Members)

Procedure: No minimum time in grade is required. Fill out the regular United States Soccer Federation, Inc. registration form. Attach a letter to the form stating your intention to retire from National Assessing and apply for Honorary National Assessor Grade. Forward it to your SDA (or SRA where applicable) in the usual manner, along with a check for $5.00, made out to the United States Soccer Federation.

Honorary National Assessors will receive a registration card (no badge or Laws of the Game Book) and be included in any general mailings.
