U-15s Go 1-2-2 in Fourth Camp of 2005

SOMERSET, N.J. (Aug. 2, 2005) - The U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team played their last match as part of their weeklong camp this afternoon at the Premeir Development Academy in Somerset, N.J. The U.S. compiled a 1-2-2 record while going up against mostly older competition during their fourth training camp of the year.

In their first match on Friday (July 29), Brian Dominguez and Scott Caldwell scored for the U.S., but it wasn't enough as they fell, 5-2, to the PDA U-17 squad. They battled back a day later to defeat the New Jersey ODP ’90 squad 5-0, getting goals from Jimmy Mulligan, Chad Barson, Dersu Abolfathi, and Dominguez for the dominating shutout victory.

On Aug. 1, the U-15s played two games. Gregory Garza scored the lone goal for the U.S. in their 2-1 loss to the older MetroStars Academy '90s, before battling PDA U-16 to a scoreless draw.

In their final match on Aug. 2, the U.S. got a goal from Jose Altamirano as they drew 1-1 with Match Fit U-16.
